Terms of use
Last updated October 14, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Jewgo LLC (“Jewgo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operator of Jewgo Card, and govern your use of our website, mobile applications, and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. The current web app and the current mobile app ask you to confirm that you are 18 or older before you can accept these Terms (on the web by checking a box; in the mobile app, tapping “Agree and continue” states that confirmation), and we record that confirmation together with your acceptance. An older, already-installed version of the mobile app built before this confirmation existed may accept these Terms without sending it — but you remain bound by this eligibility requirement regardless of which app version you use. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will disable the account and delete its Jewgo Card data, subject to the retention described in our Privacy Policy.
2. Your account
Sign-in is handled by your Jewgo account, the shared sign-in used across Jewgo products. You may create one with email and password or through Apple or Google sign-in. The same account may be used for other Jewgo services, and changing your email, password or two-factor settings changes them everywhere you use it. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. The Service
Jewgo Card is a private tool for creating a shidduch profile and sharing it through access links that you control, including options to limit visibility, set expirations, require a PIN, and revoke access. Some profiles may be shared as protected, watermarked video.
We do not verify what a card says. Jewgo Card does not independently verify a card owner’s identity, profile statements, or listed references, unless we expressly say otherwise. Profile information and references are supplied by users or other identified sources and may be incomplete or inaccurate. A viewer should independently assess information before relying on it. Nothing in this section limits rights or duties that cannot be limited by law.
Meeting in person. A shared card may lead people to communicate or meet outside Jewgo Card. Jewgo Card does not arrange or supervise those interactions. Use your own judgment, consider meeting in a public place, tell someone you trust where you are going, and do not share financial information with someone you do not know. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or duties that cannot be limited by law.
4. Your content and responsibilities
You retain ownership of the information and photos you submit (“Your Content”). You are responsible for the accuracy of Your Content and for sharing links only with people you trust.
Information about other people. If Your Content includes information or photos about anyone other than yourself, including references, family members, or the person a profile describes, you represent that you have the necessary consent or other lawful basis to provide that information and to allow us to process it as described in the Privacy Policy.
License to operate the Service. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, encrypt, process, reproduce, adapt (for example, to resize images or generate watermarked video), and display Your Content solely as needed to provide the Service to you and to the people you authorize. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except for residual copies retained in backups for a limited period (see the Privacy Policy’s Data Retention section for how long, and when a backup copy is encrypted) and as required by law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload information or photos about other people without an appropriate consent or legal basis;
- use the Service to harass, impersonate, defraud, or mislead, or to post unlawful, infringing, or harmful content;
- attempt to circumvent or defeat security features, access controls, DRM, watermarking, or rate limits;
- access data or accounts that are not yours, or scrape, harvest, or bulk-download content;
- reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; or
- use the Service in violation of applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Sharing and the limits of access control
Revoking or expiring a link stops new visits and new photo loads. It cannot delete information a viewer has already opened, downloaded, screenshotted, or forwarded.
Expiring and revocable links help you control future access, but cannot prevent a recipient from copying, screenshotting, or forwarding information while they have access. Share only what you are comfortable being seen.
7. Shadchanim and the shadchan workspace
Jewgo Card used to let you authorize a shadchan to create and revoke access links on your card, and gave shadchanim a private workspace for tracking their own work. Both have been removed. No new authorization can be granted, and the workspace is no longer available.
Links created before the removal remain yours. A link a shadchan created on your card stays valid until it expires or you revoke it from your list of links (the Access tab in the app); deleting your account revokes all of them. Removing the feature did not revoke access you had already granted to a viewer.
Records created before the removal are not a durable archive. Notes, introductions, and reminders written in the workspace were always private to their author and are no longer shown to anyone. If a person deletes their card or account, the records recorded about them are deleted along with their data. Section 4 continues to apply to any information about other people you recorded while the workspace existed.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by Jewgo LLC and its licensors and is protected by law. Jewgo Card is a private profile-sharing tool for shidduch introductions. It is not a dating app, matching engine, social network, or public directory. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them without obligation to you.
9. Premium subscription and payments
Jewgo Card offers an optional Premium auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional features (such as Privacy view, PDF export, and additional photo slots). Pricing is shown at the time of purchase and may vary by region.
Mobile (Apple App Store / Google Play): payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting your Jewgo Card account does not cancel an active store subscription. You must cancel the subscription separately in your store account.
Web (Stripe): if you subscribe on the website, payment is processed by Stripe under their terms. You can manage billing through the billing portal in Settings.
Web donations: voluntary donations on the website may be processed by Stripe or PayPal under their respective terms.
Refunds are handled according to the policies of the store or payment provider through which you purchased. We do not store your payment card details.
10. Third-party services and app stores
The Service relies on third-party providers (such as our authentication, email, video-delivery, payment, and error-reporting providers), and their services are subject to their own terms. A current list is in our Privacy Policy. If you obtain our mobile app through the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use is also subject to that store’s terms; those terms apply alongside these Terms, and the relevant store provider is not responsible for the Service or for providing support.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is incorporated into these Terms.
12. Service availability and changes
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also impose limits on certain features. We are not liable for any unavailability of the Service or for loss of data or access arising from changes to or discontinuation of the Service.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that information will not be accessed by unintended recipients once a link is shared.
14. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JEWGO LLC AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, remedies, or statutory rights that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit; any exclusion or cap above applies only to the maximum extent permitted by law.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jewgo LLC and its operators from any claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right, including any claim relating to information you provided about another person.
16. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at legal@jewgo.app and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. If the dispute is not resolved informally, you and Jewgo LLC agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Florida. You and Jewgo LLC each waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit against the other, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in this provision waives a claim or remedy that applicable law does not permit the parties to waive.
17. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Every change updates the “Last updated” date above. Where a change is material, we also give advance notice and update the version of these Terms you must accept: the app and website will ask you to review and accept the current Terms before you can continue, and you cannot create share links until you do. Where a change is not material — such as a clarification that does not change your rights or obligations — no re-acceptance is required, and continued use of the Service after the update means you accept the revised Terms.
19. Miscellaneous
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
