From the website
- Sign in at shidduchcard.com/sign-in.
- Open Settings and scroll to Delete account.
- Confirm. Sign-in and your share links are revoked right away; deletion completes as described below.
If you can’t sign in
Email privacy@jewgo.app from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account.” We verify the request against the account email and complete the deletion.
What gets deleted, and when
Deleting your account revokes sign-in and every share link immediately. We then delete your account and card records; stored photos and videos are queued for deletion from our storage and video providers and are normally removed shortly after. Revoking or expiring a link stops new visits and new photo loads. It cannot delete information a viewer has already opened, downloaded, screenshotted, or forwarded.
- Your Jewgo Card account
- Your card (all profile information)
- All photos you uploaded (queued for deletion, see above)
- All share links, revoked immediately, so they stop resolving for anyone who opens them
- References and their contact details
- Your notifications, and the viewer details (scrambled IP, browser, referring page) of your link views; only anonymous view counts remain
- Any introductions, reminders, and private notes a shadchan recorded about you, along with their access grant to your card. Where you appear in an introduction that belongs to another person, we remove the reference to you and leave their record intact.
What is not deleted
Your Jewgo account — the sign-in you use here — is shared across Jewgo products, so deleting your Jewgo Card account does not delete it. Everything Jewgo Card holds about you is erased as described above, and you will no longer be able to use Jewgo Card. If you also want to close your Jewgo account itself, do that from Jewgo Account’s privacy page, which covers deleting the identity itself.
Subscriptions. If you subscribed to Premium on the website through Stripe, deleting your account also cancels that Stripe subscription. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription — those continue to bill until you cancel them yourself in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Residual copies may remain in our backups until they are rotated out under our backup retention schedule. Backup storage is access-restricted, and the off-site backup copy is encrypted before it leaves our infrastructure when our offsite-encryption option is enabled.
Beyond that residual backup window, the only thing we keep afterward is an administrative audit log entry if our team ever took an action on your account (for example, responding to a support or safety report) — it records the administrator, the action, and the type and ID of the record it concerned, not your name or profile, and is kept indefinitely as our internal accountability record (see our Privacy Policy §8). We also keep blank account and card records, anonymous view counts, and billing records, none of which contain your name, contact details, or profile. We retain nothing else beyond that and what the law requires.
